Terms of Service
These Terms govern access to and use of Family OS, a DreamtecLabs product for organizing family information, reminders, documents and connected services.
Last updated: August 21, 20261. Acceptance of these Terms
By creating an account or using Family OS, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use Family OS on behalf of a family or organization, you represent that you have authority to do so.
2. Accounts and family workspaces
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for activity performed through it. Family owners and authorized members are responsible for managing membership, permissions and information placed in their family workspace.
3. Permitted use
You may use Family OS for lawful personal and family organization. You may not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with security controls, upload malicious content, violate another person’s rights or use the service in a way prohibited by applicable law.
4. Connected services
Family OS may connect to third-party services such as Google Calendar. Your use of those services remains subject to their own terms and policies. Connecting a third-party account authorizes Family OS to access only the permissions you approve. You may disconnect a connected service at any time.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the information and files you add to Family OS. You grant Family OS only the rights necessary to host, process, synchronize, display and transmit that content for the purpose of providing the service to you and authorized family members.
6. Privacy and security
Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for deciding what information to add to Family OS and who should have access to your family workspace.
7. Availability and changes
Family OS may evolve over time. Features may be added, modified or discontinued. We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maintenance, security events, provider outages or other circumstances may temporarily affect access.
8. No professional advice
Family OS is an organizational tool. Information, reminders and automated outputs in the service do not constitute medical, legal, financial, insurance or other professional advice. You remain responsible for verifying important dates, obligations and decisions.
9. Disclaimer and limitation
To the extent permitted by law, Family OS is provided “as is” and “as available.” DreamtecLabs disclaims warranties not expressly required by law and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service or third parties, to address misuse or legal requirements, or when an account is closed. You may stop using Family OS and request account deletion at any time.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Family OS evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date on this page and, when appropriate, by providing additional notice. Continued use after an effective update means you accept the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
