Terms of Service
These Terms govern access to and use of KinPilot, a DreamtecLabs product for organizing family information, reminders, documents and connected services.

By creating an account or using KinPilot, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use KinPilot on behalf of a family or organization, you represent that you have authority to do so.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create a KinPilot account and act as its responsible adult. Child family member profiles are added and managed by that adult; KinPilot does not offer accounts operated directly by a child.
3. Accounts and family workspaces
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for activity performed through it. Family owners and authorized members are responsible for managing membership, permissions and information placed in their family workspace.
4. Subscriptions and billing
A KinPilot subscription belongs to one family workspace, not an individual member. Pricing, recurring renewal, payment processing through Stripe or Apple, trial eligibility, failed-payment grace periods, cancellation and data retention after cancellation are governed by the Billing, Cancellation & Data Retention Policy, which you should read in full before subscribing.
5. Permitted use
You may use KinPilot for lawful personal and family organization. You may not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with security controls, upload malicious content, violate another person’s rights or use the service in a way prohibited by applicable law.
6. Connected services
KinPilot may connect to third-party services such as Google Calendar, and relies on other providers such as Stripe, DeepSeek and Microsoft Azure Document Intelligence to operate — see the Privacy Policy for the full list and what each receives. Your use of those services remains subject to their own terms and policies. Connecting a third-party account authorizes KinPilot to access only the permissions you approve, and you may disconnect it at any time.
7. Your content
You retain ownership of the information and files you add to KinPilot. You grant KinPilot only the rights necessary to host, process, synchronize, display and transmit that content for the purpose of providing the service to you and authorized family members. We do not use your content to train AI models.
8. Privacy and security
Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for deciding what information to add to KinPilot and who should have access to your family workspace.
9. The Pilot AI assistant
Pilot AI is a generative-AI feature and may occasionally produce inaccurate, incomplete or outdated answers. It is not medical, legal, financial or immigration advice, and you should verify anything important before relying on it. Pilot AI will never report that an action was taken (such as creating a reminder or health record) until you explicitly confirm it and the server reports success.
10. Availability and changes
KinPilot may evolve over time. Features may be added, modified or discontinued. We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maintenance, security events, provider outages or other circumstances may temporarily affect access.
11. No professional advice
KinPilot is an organizational tool. Information, reminders and automated outputs in the service do not constitute medical, legal, financial, insurance or other professional advice. You remain responsible for verifying important dates, obligations and decisions.
12. Disclaimer and limitation
To the extent permitted by law, KinPilot is provided “as is” and “as available.” DreamtecLabs disclaims warranties not expressly required by law and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Any dispute arising from them will be submitted to the courts of Brazil, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection venue or right available to you under applicable law.
14. Suspension and termination
You may stop using KinPilot and cancel your subscription at any time through the applicable billing provider (the Stripe Customer Portal or Apple subscription management); cancellation, grace periods and data retention are governed by the Billing Policy. We may suspend or terminate your access for violating these Terms, for fraud or abuse, for non-payment as described in the Billing Policy, or where required by law.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as KinPilot evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date on this page and, when appropriate, by providing additional notice. Continued use after an effective update means you accept the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
